2025 VETERANS
INFORMATION EXPO
Have you served in the United States Armed Forces and want to know
what benefits and resources may be available to you?
Did you know: The Department of Veterans Affairs has announced it will
improve Veterans’ access to health care by extending the length of new
VA community care authorizations to one year for 30 standardized types
of care. Come find out what types of services are covered by community
care!
Veteran ID Card? A Veteran ID Card (VIC) is a digital photo ID you can
use to get discounts for Veterans at many stores, businesses, and
restaurants. When you have this card, you won’t need to carry around
your military discharge papers or share sensitive personal information to
get discounts. And you don’t need to request another type of photo ID
card to prove you’re a Veteran or to get retail or business discounts.
Come find out if you are eligible to get one!
The PACT ACT expands VA health care and benefits to veterans exposed
to toxic substances, particularly in specific locations and during specific
time periods. This includes veterans who served in Vietnam, Gulf War,
and post-9/11 eras, as well as those exposed to burn pits and other
toxins. The Act also covers veterans who served in specified locations.
Come find out what locations are on the list.
