Walcott Memorial Day Dedication Ceremony Day veterans

The Walcott community invites you to the Memorial Day Service and Dedication of the new Walcott Area Veterans Memorial on Monday, May 25th at 11 a.m. at the Walcott Cemetery. The ceremony includes an aerial tribute, the National Anthem by Becca Fiesel, keynote speaker Roger Jordheim, and the presentation of the Merrill’s Marauders Congressional Gold Medal to the family of Orin “Bud” Nelson. The American Legion Honor Guard will render military honors, including the rifle salute and Taps. Parking and seating are limited—please arrive early and bring a lawn chair. Everyone is welcome to join this special tribute to our veterans.
