As we celebrate our the 250th Anniversary of the United States, Step back 165 years ago into the summer of 1861 at Fort Abercrombie State SHS August 1. Explore and learn about the beginning of the Civil War in 1861 and the soldiers and citizens that called North Dakota home as fighting broke out in the South.
Immersive programs, lectures, hands-on displays, etc will be available for all ages to experience history first-hand from Living Historians and reenactors from across the region!
