Blue Goose Days is back and ready to kick off a full weekend of small-town fun, community spirit, and can’t-miss moments in the Twin Towns!

Held the first weekend in June each year, the festivities get rolling Thursday evening with Kinship’s Amazing Race—a high-energy, laugh-filled adventure that sets the tone for the days ahead. From there, the celebration keeps building with something for everyone to enjoy.

Saturday morning brings one of the most loved traditions—the Blue Goose Days Parade—where floats, community groups, and smiling faces line the streets to celebrate together. After the parade, make your way over to the zoo grounds where you’ll find a vibrant mix of craft and food vendors, perfect for browsing, snacking, and soaking in the atmosphere.

While you’re there, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be offering interactive and educational experiences, adding a little extra curiosity and discovery to your day.

And to top it all off, the weekend wraps up with a celebration you won’t want to miss—a birthday party for everyone’s favorite orangutan, Tal! It’s the perfect feel-good finale to a weekend full of fun.
