DESCRIPTION:Senior Speaks Workshop What is it? Workshops will be held in seven North Dakota locations and will be open to any seniors with an interest in writing and telling stories. The workshops will be three hours long and will include instruction about how to approach storytelling as well as time to write and share work with the instructor and other participants. Participants can be at any level as long as there is a interest in learning about and sharing writing. At each site\, there will also be time in the afternoon for oral story collection. Publication All participants are invited to submit they work to be included in the Seniors Speak project. Instructors Workshops in the eastern side of these state will be lead by Melanie Hoffert. Who can attend? The workshops are designed for senior citizens\, but open to anyone with an interest in writing.
