DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Richland County Picnic in the Park and Zoo Walk on Thursday\, August 14\, 2025\, brought to you by Valley Senior Services. The day begins at 11:00 am with a grilled steak lunch served at the Hughes Shelter. The meal will include baked beans\, pasta salad\, fruit salad\, and an ice cream dessert. The suggested donation is $4.00 for anyone age 60 and older and $11.75 for anyone under the age of 60.\n\nAt 12:00 pm\, head over to the Chahinkapa Zoo for a relaxing Zoo Walk. Admission to the zoo is free for individuals age 60 and older. Participants are welcome to attend just the picnic\, just the Zoo Walk\, or enjoy both activities.\n\nPre-registration is required for both the lunch and the Zoo Walk. To register\, stop by the Wahpeton Senior Center office or call 701-642-3033 by Friday\, July 18. We hope you'll join us for this fun-filled day of good food\, fresh air\, and community connection.
